Valley Apple Handmade Red Watercolour

One half pan of handmade watercolour, in the colour Valley Apple.

This cool, transparent red is my favourite red, just the colour of juicy red apples, crisp and yummy! Transparent reds can sometimes be difficult to find, that transparency helps your mixes stay unclouded. Valley Apple is also a single-pigment colour, my two major preferences for any paint in my palette.

It does wonders for lighthouses! I have grown up near apple orchards and lighthouses- this red encapsulates them both.
