Spanish Gold Ochre Watercolour

One half pan of handmade watercolour, in the colour Spanish Gold Ochre.

I will always love Yellow Ochre, but this one is wonderful too!

I love the warm glow of Spanish Gold Ochre. Both ochres would be fantastic for any nature journal kit, as these colours appear everywhere outdoors. A great colour for fall, as well.

While technically an opaque colour, Spanish Gold Ochre (and Yellow Ochre) can easily be used as a transparent colour in washes. I find both of these to be wonderfully pigmented and rich, I usually just need a slight touch of a wet brush to the pan to get what I need. I hope you enjoy it!
