This ‘Mixing Set’ dot card contains the following six colours:

Ultramarine
Cyan (primary)
Burnt Sienna
Quinacridone Magenta (primary)
Sugar Maple
Lemon Yellow (primary) 

Each one of these are single-pigment colours, so it will keep your mixes clean and vibrant without resulting in the dreaded mud! The dots are large enough to do several small paintings. Because they are made with no fillers, a little goes a long way.

Trial sized:
A dot card set is an excellent way to try out handmade watercolours. They also work really well for workshops when teaching others how to watercolour, as purchasing large sets of paint would be very expensive, and using student paint has its own problems (fillers and such).
