DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF A PRINTABLE TEMPLATE FOR PAINTING

This listing is for a DIGITAL ITEM ONLY, nothing will be mailed or posted to you.

The inspiration for this painting (and the template!) came from a gift from a dear friend. I love surrounding myself with flowers (our house can get a bit jungle-like at times!) and they are especially appreciated in the deep dark of winter here in Canada. This beautiful Hibiscus shares its pretty flowers with us all year long and now I even have a little plant baby of it in my studio! Now you can have your own version and paint it as many times as you'd like. :)

What is included:

One PDF file, formatted to print on 8.5 x 11 inch printer paper. The design is set to one side, so you can transfer it to your watercolour paper (the design will fit on 7 x 9 inch watercolour paper). Directions for two methods to transfer it to your paper are included below.

IMPORTANT PRINTING DIRECTIONS: to get the best quality template, be sure to select ‘BLACK AND WHITE’ when printing, rather than a ‘COLOR’ option. This black and white option will make your template bolder and easier to see than the color option.

This painting template can be used in several ways. It is designed to be traced onto your watercolour paper lightly so you have a guide for your watercolour painting.

You can do this by, ONE) putting it up against a bright window and tracing it directly, or TWO) rubbing the back of your printout with graphite (pencil) and then placing it on top of your watercolour paper and drawing over the lines to cause the graphite to transfer onto your watercolour paper.

You may print and use this drawing template as many times as you want, but please note: this is for your PERSONAL use only. Do not share this template with others or sell the art you make from it.

However, I’d LOVE to see the art you make from it!
